Reflection: Bike
After many hours of working on this I came to school and found some of it was not saved and it was missing a tire. I therefore could not put this painted image on to a scene to show its use as a bike. Luckily I had created another half-finished sculpt of what the bike looked like folded together. What I found successful about this is that you can then see it as what makes it unique. I also like the orange colour I used to paint it. I wish I had would have had time to re-do the other sculpture so people would actually know what it is. I find this the least successful aspect of the assignment. I think this would be a good invention for the future because it would be a lot easier to transport a bike when you are tired of biking. It would also have an awesome futuristic appeal. I think that children would enjoy this because they can bike but when they get tired, walk and carry this light-weight design of a bicycle.

Brainstorming- Utopian Invention Design
1. I think Da Vinci invented these inventions because he was a creative person with lots of ideas- some of which he felt would improve the world, by giving it something it doesn't have yet. Leonardo thought outside the box and saw much needed innovation in areas others failed to see.
2. I think what had the biggest impact on modern society is Da Vinci's helicopter design because it has evolved from a one person flying machine to a helicopter capable of carrying heavy load. It is still used today and continues to still evolve.
3. Three inventions that would enrich our lives:
>Soundless automatic vacuum, It would have sensors to avoid furniture/furniture legs and walls. Can travel at ninety degree angles when on "Stair" setting.
>A see-through toaster, so your toast is the perfect crispiness.
>Collapsible Bike
